About Us

Alpine Ride GmbH was founded in the spring of 2026 with the goal of promoting mountain biking in Interlaken and getting new people excited about the sport. The Jungfrau Region is known for its awesome trails, beautiful natural scenery, and vibrant outdoor community. That’s exactly what we want to show people through Alpine Ride.

Our History

I, Louis Eisenhut, have made our dream of owning our own business a reality together with my wife, Madison “Maddy” Eisenhut.

When my father took me on my first bike ride 15 years ago, when I was a 10-year-old boy, I fell in love with the sport right away. All I wanted to do was spend every free minute on my bike. Since I grew up in Wilderswil, a small village near Interlaken, I quickly got to know my home region and its fantastic trails.

In 2015, I competed in my first downhill bike race, and from that moment on, I knew that I wanted to make a living from my hobby someday. After a five-year career as an amateur racer, I found my calling in social media, and since 2020, I’ve been sharing my journey to becoming a professional mountain biker with my online community.

For me, Alpine Ride is another step in that direction. Along the way, I want to inspire as many people as possible to fall in love with this very sport, which has already given me so much in my life.

My wife Maddy supports me every step of the way, so we are now working on our business together.

Together, we’re turning Interlaken into a playground for all mountain bike enthusiasts—and for anyone trying an e-bike for the first time. We’ll show you just how amazing life on two wheels can really be!

Hi, I'm Louis!

“My name is Louis, and together with my wife Maddy, I founded Alpine Ride. In 2010, my father introduced me to mountain biking, and for more than 15 years now, I’ve spent every spare minute on my bike. Bicycles are my greatest passion, and thanks to my enthusiasm for the sport, I was able to turn professional in 2022. I’ve been traveling the world for more than four years now and want to get as many people as possible into mountain biking. That’s why I decided to create an experience in my home region to show people just how amazing a day on the bike can be. At Alpine Ride, you’ll be guided through the region by passionate mountain bikers. They’ll show you what it means to mountain bike in Switzerland!”

Nice to meet you, I'm Maddy!

“Hey! Ever since I moved to Switzerland in 2023, I’ve been fascinated by the outdoor sports region around Interlaken. I love being out in nature, going on long hikes with our dog Kirby, and I’m captivated by the mountains, lakes, and forests here. Through Alpine Ride, I want to share this passion with others and give them the chance to visit the most beautiful spots in Interlaken.”
