The easiest way to visit Lake Brienz from Interlaken
Route: Alpine Ride → Aare River → Lake Brienz → Bönigen → Along Lake Brienz → Alpine Ride
Distance: 13 km
Riding Time: 1 – 2 hours (depending on if you make stops for photos or food)
Difficulty: Easy
Incline: This route was designed with little to no incline
Surface: Paved and gravel paths
Suitable for: E-Scooters or E-Bikes

Start your E-Scooter or E-Bike rental from Alpine Ride. Ride along the Aare River on a bike path that leads to Lake Brienz.

Once you arrive at Lake Brienz, the path continues along the lake past several scenic spots where you can jump in for a swim or just stop for some photos. Then you arrive at the small town of Bönigen on the lake, where you can stop for a coffee, some food, or refill your water bottle at a local fountain.

Next you continue on a paved road along the lake until you reach the turn around point.
You can follow the same route you came from back to Alpine Ride, or you can take a short cut through the main part of town. The main roads through town are a little busier so I would suggest taking the same way back that you came from instead.
