Start your E-Bike rental from Alpine Ride. Follow the GPS route through the back roads of Interlaken, past the retired military airport until you reach Wilderswil.

Once you reach Wilderswil, you will cross a wooden bridge to reach the church «Kirche Gsteig». This is where the incline up to Gsteigwiler begins. Once you have passed the wooden bridge, you will notice the river will always be on your right hand side until shortly before you reach Lauterbrunnen.
Once you reach Gsteigwiler the incline will flatten out to become more gradual and you will have great views in the valley.

Follow the bike path until the Zweilütchinen train station. You can follow the GPS route around the train station, or you can go under the train station if you would like to take a short cut. Just follow the bike signs. As you will see, the valley splits in half at the Zweilütchinen train station, when you are facing south (the direction of travel) you want to go to the valley to the right (Lauterbrunnen) and not the valley to the left (Grindelwald). Look at the signs, and follow the ones to Lauterbrunnen.

You will notice that the GPS ends before you reach Lauterbrunnen. Do not worry! Continue straight on the bike path deeper into the valley and you will arrive at the train station in about 15 minutes.

Once you arrive at the train station, you can start part 2 of the GPS google map from Lauterbrunnen to Trachsellauenen. This will bring you first to the base of the famous Staubbachfall waterfall.

Continue on the paved path to the back of the valley. You will see many waterfalls, and on a clear sunny day you may see some BASE jumpers in wing suits jumping off of the cliffside.
You will go past the Stechelberg cable car station next to the impressive Mürrenbachfall waterfall.

Continue biking all the way back into the valley until you reach the remote area of Trachsellauenen. There is one restaurant that is seasonally open if you would like to have a snack and enjoy the views.
To return to Alpine Ride, you can follow the bike path you came from, all the way back to Interlaken. It will be a nice and easy decline most of the way back. Do not forget to use first the back brake, and then add in the front brake to slow yourself down.

Have a lovely trip!
